Game Week 6 Report

Welcome everyone to Game Week 6 post round rap up.
Still plenty of suprises unfolding as we begin to settle into season 2007/08. First, my appologies to Derby County. Two weeks ago I hailed them as the comps whipping boys. They promptly went on to secure a win over Newcaslte United on Monday night, and I promptly began to wipe the egg off my face. In saying this I still dont see big things happening for the newly prompted club this year. As good a win it was for them against such a highly respected club, I still place them in the relegation zone come round 38.
No suprises at the other end of the table. The so called BIG FOUR round up the first four places at the top of the Barclays Premier league ladder - Arsenal, Liverpool, Chelsea and Man U. Arsenal still continue to prove their critics wrong with dominate displays week in week out. Their newly hailed midfeilding magician, Ces Frabregas, has already passed his last years goal scoring tally, which in turn we see an increase in his purchasing price. Liverpool have Steven Gerrard back and continue to look strong, Chelsea were unlucky on the weekend having a goal disallowed, and Man U have Ronaldo back even though he has done bugger all so far (dont write him off just yet, i have no doubts he will fire up very soon.....Sir Alex just wont stand for it otherwise!....plus what has he done to his hair!!?? It looked like he dipped it in oil before he played).
To the business at hand. Congratulations to 'Cam's Champs' who top scored with an impressive 73 this round. Followed by 'Team Larry' & 'Farsenal07' both with 69 coming in second highest. Third highest scorer for round 6 was 'Benit FC' with 64.
The dreaded embarressment for lowest scores for this round goes to 'Matt's Mob' and The Azmans who managed to squeeze a measly 20 point out of their team. Followed by Know Idea & Scotland FC with 24 points and Bend it Like Becko & Team Schwartz with 26 for the round.
Biggest movers up the prestigous Harold ladder goes to yours truly 'Howard United' climbing a dominate 14 places (well done me). 'Cam's Champs' had to climb climb 13 places due to his impressive high score for the round. 'Team Larry' rounds up the biggest movers by grabbing 8 places up the ladder.
The crew that slipped this week the most were 'Matt's mob' dropped 11 places, followed by Warra's Rovers down 8 and Team Schwarz down 7.
The average score for the round was 42.9 points.
At the end of the day we have a new leader. Congratulations goes to Baggins Battlers, who appear to be not battling at all. Jim's team managed to topple Warra Rovers from the perch (Sam's team slide a nasty 8 places from the top...ouch!)
And thats it for round six. For those who havent used it, dont forget about your wildcard option. Otherwise happy trading, keep an eye out for any injuries to your team and select your captain wisely.
See you all at the end of week 7
